Dive into the depths and thrust yourself with complete safety with the Cressi Gara Modular Impulse diving fins. This impressive edition of the Gara, courtesy of the Cressi Specialized line, takes these fins to new heights of performance to give you increased swimming power and hydrodynamics
The most revolutionary aspect of the redesign applied to the Gara Modular Impulse is a decreasing-thickness polypropylene blade - from 4 mm at the base to 2 mm at the edge - that increases the acceleration generated with less pedaling effort. A novel 29º angulation gives you a wider pedaling cone and is useful for demanding swimming moments, such as ascending to the surface or ballast-assisted descents.

The Gara Modular Impulse’s fin edge design received a retouch to increase pedaling stability, thanks to two thermoplastic rubber spoilers spoilers that reduce the blade’s arc. These fins’ foot pocket keeps its double material construction philosophy - 75º shore thermoplastic rubber in the ribs and 65º semi-flexible rubber in the body – with an anatomical shape that wraps around your foot for reduced energy loss.

Divers with high insteps will also be pleased to know that the Gara Modular Impulse includes a self-adjusting band in this area to expand the foot pocket by 2 to 4 mm according to the user´s needs. New version of fins with a high-reactivity-modulus polypropylene blade and new design with decreasing thickness (from 4 mm to 2 mm) and a new distribution of the reinforcements, which makes the arc very progressive, avoiding the tendency to skid, since the first half of the set is more rigid and the final half more flexible.

Blade with angulation of 29º against the traditional 21 to 23º. This angulation allows a flapping with the foot in a completely relaxed position and makes flapping soft and comfortable but highly effective both for surface movements and to overcome situations of great resistance to advance such as rising from the bottom, strong sea or the start of the descent with adjusted ballast.

The design of the end of the blade is slightly conical and integrates two spoilers in subtle thermoplastic rubber. This feature, together with the calculated progression of the blade flexing arc, makes the flapping stability of Impulse perfect.

FOOT POCKET

New design of the flaps of the foot pocket with reduced height in order to allow the adjustment of blades of any angle, not interfere in the reactivity of the blade and allow a greater arch to the blade.

Foot pocket volume resulting from deep anatomical studies, with volumes proportional to the broadening effect caused by the socks depending on the size of the foot, does not follow a fixed size-to-size ratio, since proportionally a small foot “fattens” much more than a large one when using neoprene socks.

Combine two materials:

Thermoplastic rubber with shore 75º hardness, flexible but inelastic and very resistant applied to the nerves, the entire sole of the foot pocket and the exclusive support band on the instep for immediate effort transmission without dissipating in rubbery compositions

The rest of the foot pocket (grey area) maintains a semi flexible 65° shore composition for optimum comfort. This material is alternately extended in the heel area to fulfill a non-slip function when walking on a boat or on rocks
The instep incorporates in its centre a band of 2 cm of width “Self-adjusting”, which allows a slight expansion (from 2 to 4 mm depending on size) to adapt to people with a high instep or in case of using thick socks. The dilation has been carefully calibrated so as not to impair the transmission of energy.
